Way back in 2016, Adam Selman and Le Specs made an elongated, slender cat-eye frame called The Last Lolita. At the time, both brands were a bit niche; Selman made clothes for Rihanna, and Le Specs was an affordable Australian sunglasses label vying for international success. What happened next was unexpected: The Last Lolita became, and remains, the most influential sunglasses style of the 2010s. Hamish Tame, a designer at Le Specs, told Vogue, “We knew that it felt special, but we never in a million years could have imagined what a success the collaboration would become.”CREDITS
